GOP Convention

I tried to watch some of the GOP Convention, but after about 20 mins, I had to turn it off. Yawn. The whole grass roots thing sends me bonkers: I was born a really poor kid and learned self reliance from my grandfather, who was an Irish immigrant...blah, blah, blah. For the record, my eyes glaze over whenever the Dems do this routine too.

I lost my phone over the weekend and I feel like half of my brain is missing. Ugh.

Chick-Fil-A

I'm happy to say that I've been able to bite my tongue throughout this whole Chick fil A thing, but I will say this, having lived overseas for 4 years, only in America could you have one group eat fast food in droves all day long to show its disgust for another group, all the while praising their beloved savior AND (here comes the important part) exercising their right to free speech. I can't stay angry for any length of time because I can't stop laughing. I mean seriously, I can't stop laughing. The absurdity is akin to watching Monty Python with an all American cast.
